John Robinson

John Robinson III is a assistant professor of sociology, associated faculty in African American Studies, and the Richard Allen Lester University Preceptor at Princeton University. His work lies at the intersection of urban sociology, economic sociology, political sociology, and the sociology of race and racism, and focuses on housing, public and private finance, and municipal governance.
He is a faculty affiliate with the race and capitalism project at the University of Chicago, part of Progressive International’s Debt Justice Working Group, and serves on the social science advisory board for the Poverty and Race Research Action Council.
