Danielle B. Craddock

Danielle Craddock is the founder and director of Girls Inspired and Ready to Lead, Inc. (GIRL), a non-profit organization designed to mentor and empower teen girls for future success through promoting career exploration, leadership development, and confidence building. Established in 2010, GIRL has served more than 1,200 middle and high school girls through science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) camps; workshops; annual career conferences; worksite visits; and community service events.
Craddock also co-founded the award-winning Females of Color Underrepresented in STEM (FOCUS) summer camp in partnership with George Mason University’s College of Science. Her efforts with GIRL have been spotlighted on ABC 7 News Good Morning Washington (WJLA-TV) and in The Washington Post.
She holds a BA in communication from Old Dominion University, a MAIS in higher education student services from George Mason University, and a certificate in financial success for nonprofits from Cornell University. Craddock has received several awards, most recently the 2020 Northern VA Nonprofit Leader Award from Leadership Fairfax.
