Dean's Advisory Board
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences Advisory Board serves to advise the dean by connecting the university with the world beyond our campuses and providing the college with specialized knowledge and expertise. Board members support the programs and activities of the college and foster continuing relationships among students, faculty, alumni, and friends.

Barzinji serves as general counsel to Sterling Management Group, Inc., a small private equity management firm in Herndon, Virginia.
Bedsworth is a senior program manager at Serco, Inc.

Corley is an attending physician within the division of general and community pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She is also an assistant professor in the University of Cincinnati Department of Pediatrics.

As the Chief Culture, Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Vizient, Inc., Monica Davy guides overarching strategy, program implementation and ongoing support for the company’s culture, DEI, engagement, community impact and corporate responsibility initiatives.

Lomax spent his career in public service with the U.S. Government Accountability Office. In 2006 he founded the Partnership for a Healthier Alexandria.
Mirza is President and CEO of Sterling Management Group. He is parent to two Mason alums and a longtime supporter and friend of the university.
Petin is an impassioned professional with more than 20 years of experience in solving problems within private and public organizations.
