Julie Sandler, BA English '06, is an award-winning marketing, brand, and engagement expert and four-time business builder and operator. Over the past two decades, Sandler has co-founded two marketing agencies, operated a third agency as lead partner, and served as chief marketing officer to a rapidly growing fintech startup. Her work has ranged from $50 million national and global campaigns to grassroots economic development initiatives.
As CEO and founding partner of Small Great Ventures, Sandler is dedicated to building toward a world where companies nurture the needs of humanity and the planet.
Her client and work highlights include The ACLU National, Temerity Capital Partners, Asurity Technologies, #WeDC, Marriott International, Waldorf Astoria, Comcast NBC Universal, The George Washington University, Greater Washington Partnership, Washington D.C. Originally from Kentucky, Sandler resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband (and business partner), and dog, where she reads all the books, eats all the food, and pets all the pets.
She volunteers her time to George Mason as a member of the CHSS Dean's Advisory Board.
