Once a Patriot, Always a Patriot.
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences flourishes when supported by its alumni and community partners and one of the greatest ways you can give back is through your time and knowledge. We hope you will find a way to stay involved through our opportunities below:
- Share Your News
Have you recently landed an interesting new job or prestigious position, won an award, published a book, released a film, launched a new business, organization or NGO, drafted policy or legislation, or had another career achievement you would like to share? - Support Students on Graduation Day
The Gowns for Grads Lending Program allows students who are unable to purchase their own regalia to borrow a cap and gown for graduation from the university. Our current inventory does not match the needs of our students. We are asking alumni to donate regalia to give students the opportunity to walk across the stage and celebrate their achievement. Learn more about ways to participate. This program has been temporarily paused due to COVID-19 restrictions.
- Purchase Mason Gear
When you buy Mason gear from Fanatics using this link, a percentage of the sales comes back to the Mason Alumni Association. You can also buy Mason gear at our bookstore on the Fairfax campus.
- The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute - OLLI
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at George Mason University offers intellectual and cultural experiences in a welcoming atmosphere to Northern Virginia residents in their retirement years.

Give back by serving on an alumni chapter board, organizing a regional alumni activity, speak on a career panel or in a classroom, or by mentoring a student. The possibilities are endless. Email us to learn more about volunteering: firstname.lastname@example.org.
