2026 Winter Graduation Ceremony

Congratulations, CHSS Graduates!

George Mason University and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) look forward to celebrating your achievements at the 2026 Winter Graduation Ceremony!

Join us on Thursday, December 17, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the EagleBank Arena as we recognize the accomplishments of our CHSS graduates. 

The Winter Graduation Ceremony 1 will celebrate graduates from CHSS and will include the individual recognition of all doctoral, master’s, and bachelor’s degree candidates, giving each graduate the opportunity to cross the stage and be recognized for their achievements.

We are proud of all you have accomplished and look forward to celebrating this important milestone with you!

Location: EagleBank Arena, George Mason University, Fairfax Campus
Doors Open: 8:30 a.m.

Graduate Registration and Guest Tickets

Advance registration is required for all graduates planning to participate in the ceremony.

Eligible graduates will receive an email with instructions for registering and requesting guest tickets. 

·         Graduates: A Tassel Pass is required to check in and participate in the ceremony.

·         Guests: Tickets are required for admission and may be requested by graduates through the university’s graduation registration process.

Security and Arena Policies

Security measures will be in place for the safety of all graduates and guests attending the ceremony.

All attendees will pass through weapons detection systems upon entering the EagleBank Arena. Graduates and guests are encouraged to review the arena’s bag policy and list of prohibited items before arriving.
