Nicole Livas

Nicole Livas, BA Communication, is an evening anchor/special projects reporter for WVEC-13NewsNow in Norfolk, Virginia. 

Before coming back home to Norfolk, Livas worked as an anchor/producer/editor for Voice of America in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, Livas spent several years as an evening anchor for WAVY-TV in Norfolk. She also worked at television stations in Rhode Island and Ohio.

Livas is a proud mom who spends free time with family and friends. She enjoys fitness, travel, and supporting local businesses. In addition to serving on the dean's advisory board for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Mason, Livas is a board member for Samaritan House in Virginia Beach and the Society of Professional Journalists, Virginia Chapter.
