Torey Carter-Conneen, BA Economics '06, is CEO of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the 16,000-member professional association that represents U.S. landscape architects. Landscape architects are STEM professionals who design safe, beautiful, resilient places where Americans work, live, play, travel, and gather.

He has led ASLA to adopt an ambitious set of climate action activities, advocate for key priorities with local, state, and the federal government, and participate in international conversations on climate and equitable development.

Prior to joining ASLA, Carter-Conneen served as chief operating officer of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
