Makayla Vaughan

BA Integrative Studies '22

Makayla Vaughan is a graduating senior in the integrative studies program with a concentration in legal studies and a minor in leadership.  

Vaughan has focused on advocating for those who look like her, both inside and outside Mason. She has served as a leader at Mason from her first year and has immersed herself in the community—she has been a Mason ambassador, a learning community resident assistant, patriot leader, peer advisor, and a president student advisory group member. 

Outside of Mason, Vaughan has recently joined a D.C.-based law firm as a legal administrative assistant. She hopes to continue her work as a child advocate attorney upon completing her juris doctor and master's in social work. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, reading, and baking.
