Sydney E. Farrar

BS Psychology '23

Sydney E. Farrar is a senior at George Mason University studying psychology with a concentration in work and organizational psychology. Originally from Glen Allen, Virginia, she has always been passionate about psychology since her first course in high school.  

At Mason, Farrar is a research assistant for the on-campus graduate I/O psychology lab and an undergraduate teacher’s assistant for a statistics in psychology course.  

After graduation, she plans on attending graduate school to get a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology. Her future plans include working in human resources for a tech company or opening a business consulting firm.  

She is extremely grateful for the scholarship funds that have helped her to continue her education at Mason.
