Bio: I have worked in the banking industry with higher education and non profit clients for over 25 years. My main focus is helping organizations manage their banking operations from payments to collections while mitigating fraud.

Describe how you got your first job: Persistence, patience and follow up.

If you were starting your career today, what is the one piece of advice you would give yourself? Never give up.

In what ways has your career path been unique or unconventional? As an Economics major, I wasn’t sure a banking career is something I wanted to pursue.

I somewhat fell into a banking career after a friend told me about an opportunity. Since then I have learned quite a bit and really enjoy working with colleges and nonprofit organizations.

What career paths have you explored or transitioned between? I haven’t really looked at other career paths outside of banking.

What skills or experiences have been most valuable in your career? Listening well, learning from others and being diligent and intentional.
