Ann M. Ludwick

Ann Ludwick is an assistant dean at the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason. She leads the undergraduate academic advising team, teaches the internship course, and directs the Global Politics Fellows program. She has worked at the university for more than 32 years managing departments, graduate programs, and undergraduate academic affairs. In each of these roles, Ludwick has valued a student-centered approach.  

In 2022, a George Mason alum established a scholarship fund in her name to recognize the guidance she provides to many students.

A lover of languages and world culture, Ludwick earned her bachelor's degree in modern languages from Longwood University, and her MPA and DA in Education, both from George Mason. She also serves as a study abroad instructor where she supports students participating in international internships and in winter and summer programs in Switzerland. She received a Fulbright Germany Education Administrator award and has traveled to Beijing for a China 1-2-1 graduation ceremony.  

Ludwick enjoys traveling and sampling beers from the U.S. and around the world.
