Melanie O'Brien

Melanie O’Brien is the Senior Writer/Editor for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She oversees content for the CHSS Digest and shares news of the diverse and vital work of the college’s faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Melanie earned her BA in journalism from Penn State, an MA in writing from Johns Hopkins, and an MEd in secondary education with an endorsement in English from the George Washington University.
