Janice M. Cohen

Director, Finance & Research Operations

Janice is the Director of Finance and Research Operations for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She works with the Executive Director in support of college financial operations and with the Associate Dean of Research reviewing grant proposal submissions and coordinating research activity for the college. She assists CHSS departments and centers in managing externally funded sponsored awards, providing financial support and research reporting.

Janice began her employment with Mason in April 2011 working for the Department of Public and International Affairs. Prior to beginning a career in secondary and higher education, Janice served as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army.
