After graduating from Vanderbilt University with a BA in History, Eleanor worked as a legislative assistant on Capitol Hill researching and drafting legislation. Upon receiving her MPA from George Washington University, she began her career in development working for Hospice of Northern Virginia. Eleanor has devoted her 25+ years in fundraising to mission-oriented organizations, raising funds for nonprofits, associations, and higher education. Prior to joining the CHSS development team, Eleanor served as the chief development officer for George Mason's School of Business.  

Over the course of her career, Eleanor has specialized in building and strengthening advisory boards, engaging volunteers, cultivating strategic and transformational giving, and developing a team-based approach to growing development fundraising programs.
