Anthony DeMaio

Post Award Research Administrator

Anthony supports CHSS departments and centers with managing sponsored awards received by the college. He first joined Mason in 2017 as part of the Undergraduate Education office in the Office of the Provost, where he supported undergraduate research activity and administered several internal grants and fellowships for the Provost Office. He joined the CHSS team in April of 2022 as the post-award research team worked to expand the support provided to departments. Prior to Mason, Anthony managed a series of movie theaters in Florida, Maryland, and Virginia.

Anthony attended the University of Florida where he received a degree in East Asian Languages and Literature, with a focus on Japan. During his free time, Anthony enjoys spending time with his family, playing a wide variety of games, and watching movies.
