Amber Myers
Amber L. Myers, MPS, RYT, SHRM-CP, BS Marketing ’15, MPS ’25, is a Principal HR Business Partner and Organizational Effectiveness Leader with more than ten years of progressive experience advising C-suite executives and senior leaders across federal consulting and nonprofit sectors. She currently serves as Deputy to the HR Director at a government IT consulting firm, where she leads enterprise workforce strategy, organizational design, and leadership capability development for a global organization of more than 10,000 employees.
A proud double alumna of George Mason University, Amber earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing with an HR elective concentration in 2015 and her Master of Professional Studies in Applied Industrial-Organizational Psychology in 2025. She is a recognized voice at the intersection of evidence-based HR leadership and organizational well-being, having presented at SIOP, Hacking HR, and academic forums internationally. She also served as Co-President of the Northern Virginia SHRM Chapter and was honored as a 2026 Forty Under 40 by the GMU Black Alumni Chapter.
Amber is committed to giving back to the Mason community that shaped her and is honored to serve as a Director at Large for the CHSS Alumni Chapter Board.
