Anthony Homan

Anthony Homan, BS Economics '84, MA '93, PhD '95, recently retired and is looking forward to give back to the George Mason community. He is a former senior federal government thought leader in transportation, regulatory, program management, and finance and has over 30 years of proven experience as a leader in both the public and the private sectors. He has been the Acting Chief Economist of U.S. DOT, a big-4 consultant at KPMG, a consultant at HDR, the Chief Economist at the US Coast Guard and he was also a Lead Aviation Economist at the Mitre Corporation. He was also a Senior Financial Economist at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Homan has presented and published research in the areas of transportation, homeland security, program effectiveness, project finance, and securities markets.
