Will R. Fleming

Will excelled in his first year at Mason. As economics professor Thomas Rustici puts it, "Will not only demonstrates a passion for economics, but an adamant dedication to continued intellectual growth."

In a philosophy course "What is Art?," Will was (in his own words) "able to look at artwork in a whole new light...." He adds, "The course has inspired me to take my education even more seriously than before, and to be sure [to] choose my future courses prudently."

He serves as treasurer of the Mason Economics Society and is a volunteer at his local church. 

Because of his accomplishments in his first year at Mason, Will was awarded a Freshman Academic Achievement Scholarship in spring 2011.
