Content Based Curricula Development through Modern Korean History

Young Ju Lee is a first-year graduate student in the M.A. in Foreign Languages program with a concentration in Korean Studies at George Mason University. Her academic interests include Korean language pedagogy, second-language acquisition, Korean culture, intercultural communication, and experiential learning.

Korean Musicological research

Nancy McClain is a first-year graduate student in George Mason’s M.A. in Foreign Languages program with a concentration in Korean. Ms. McClain graduated from George Mason in 2020 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance.

Korean Poetry Translation and Comparative Research of Modern Korean and Iranian Poetry

Ana is currently pursuing an M.A. in Foreign Languages with a concentration in Korean. She earned her BA in Korean studies and English literature at GMU and is interested in literary translation, the Gothic, and comparative literature, with a particular focus on Korean and Iranian poetry. She is currently a graduate teaching assistant in the Korean program.
