Jennie Bush brings over fifteen years of project management and community engagement experience in the public sector. Prior to coming to Mason, she worked for a computer technology company as the scheduling manager and later for a local nonprofit organization charged with preventing homelessness and hunger in Fairfax County. Jennie joined the Dean's office in October 2021 as the Faculty Affairs Assistant and serves as the college's point of contact for questions related to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) accreditation compliance. She works with the Office of the Provost and CHSS departments and programs to ensure faculty have met credentialing requirements. Jennie provides administrative support for the Associate Dean, Faculty Affairs, including calendar management, and maintaining records for units' bylaws, workload guidelines and joint appointment MOUs. Jennie is the liaison to the university for planning graduation events and is the point person for the college's Spring degree celebration and publication of the celebration program. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Honors Political Science.
