Jordan M. Alpert

Jordan Alpert is an assistant professor in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida. He earned his PhD from the Department of Communication at Mason in 2015, and then was an instructor and postdoctoral fellow in cancer prevention and control in the Department of Health Behavior and Policy at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. At the University of Florida, he focuses on how technology can facilitate communication between patients and providers. Jordan is a founding member of UF's Cancer Informatics and eHealth core, and has published 20 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
