John Robinson is an assistant professor of sociology, associated faculty in African American Studies, and the Richard Allen Lester University Preceptor at Princeton University.
His research explores the intersections of urban sociology, economic sociology, political sociology, and the sociology of race and racism, and focuses on housing, finance, and governance.
Robinson’s leadership extends nationally through his roles with the race and capitalism project at the University of Chicago, Progressive International’s Debt Justice Working Group, and the Poverty and Race Research Action Council.
