Enedina is pursuing a Master's in Spanish in addition to the Graduate Certificate in Spanish Heritage Language Education. She came to MCL's graduate programs with seven years of experience teaching Spanish (PK-12), a deep passion for education, and a commitment to enhancing heritage language instruction.

The program's focus on critical pedagogy and social justice in heritage language teaching aligns perfectly with Enedina's interests and professional goals. She has found valuable insights while learning about the latest research and best practices in language education, and she values the program's emphasis on critical teaching strategies that can be directly applied in the classroom to enhance student learning. 

Enedina's academic and career goals include continuous growth as an educator and advocate for heritage language learners, as well as further research in the field.
