Degree: MA in Economics

Thomas chose to attend George Mason because of its noteworthy faculty, including professors Robin Hanson, Bryan Caplan, Alex Tabarrok, Tyler Cowen, and many others. While he said these professors are particularly notable, there are many other professors at George Mason that are of equally high quality.  

His interest in fighting climate change led him to concentrate on energy markets during his graduate studies. His most notable memory was reading Mancur Olson's The Rise and Decline of Nations with Professor John V.C. Nye.  

Upon graduating, he plans to work at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
