Mason's Commencement will be in-person on Friday, May 20, at 10:00 am. The college's Degree Celebration for the Humanities and Interdisciplinary Studies, including the School of Integrative Studies, takes place May 20 at 2:00 pm; the Degree Celebration for the Social Sciences takes place May 20 at 6:00 pm.

NHA Annual Meeting and Humanities Advocacy Day, March 14 and 15, 2022

The NHA Annual Meeting brings together faculty, students, administrators, and representatives from scholarly societies, museums, archives, and other humanities organizations to build their capacity to advocate for the humanities. The program offers sessions on recruiting students to the humanities and making the case for the public value of the humanities in addition to trainings for Capitol Hill advocacy. CHSS Research has some funds to support registration for CHSS faculty. Contact Michele Schwietz (mschwiet@GMU.EDU) for more information.
