One of the most easily executed strategies for optimizing the workplace is employee recognition. Based on the book The 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace, this training helps faculty and staff, including supervisors and non-supervisors, discover strategies for assessment and practical application of authentic and genuine workplace appreciation.

The group, which included master’s and doctoral students from CHSS and the College of Education and Human Development, met with Virginia Senator Tim Kaine and Virginia Representative Bob Good, each of whom sit on their respective higher education committees.
