These publications represent the first novels and the first works of speculative fiction published by Stillhouse Press, an independent teaching press staffed by students and alumni of George Mason University's graduate and undergraduate creative writing programs and affiliated with Mason’s Watershed Lit: Center for Literary Engagement and Publishing Practice.

VIVA Open grants focus on reducing the costs of higher education for Virginia students by eliminating course material costs.

Important timeline considerations for external funding proposal submissions

The CHSS internal deadline is six business days prior to the sponsor submission deadline on or before 10 a.m. All proposal documents must be complete and in final form when submitted to the CHSS Pre-Award Research Administrator (RA) assigned to the proposal. In the event of university holiday breaks or closures, the timeline will be two business days prior to the deadlines set by OSP.
