George Mason University Winter Graduation 2021: Doctoral Ceremony

George Mason University will hold Winter Graduation ceremony for all doctoral graduates on Thursday, December 16, 2021, in the Concert Hall in the Center for the Arts, Fairfax Campus.

Winter Graduation will be a formal event, where speakers will address graduates and guests. Graduates must wear academic regalia, and graduates will be hooded as part of the ceremony. They will have their names called, cross the stage in the Concert Hall, and be professionally photographed. Families and guests are invited to the ceremony and need to commit to stay for the duration of the event. 

Registration will be required.

Note: all attendees, regardless of age, at an indoor event or performance at the Center for the Arts, must be fully vaccinated (14 days since second shot of double-dose vaccine or 14 days since single-dose vaccine) against COVID-19 by the date of their visit and present proof of vaccination OR show a negative COVID-19 test result, upon entry into the venue.
