2025 Eligibility Criteria and Timeline
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for any of the CHSS Staff and A/P Faculty Reward and Recognition Program awards, an employee must satisfy the following criteria:
- Be a current CHSS classified staff member, A/P faculty member, or non-student wage employee at the time of nomination, and remain a CHSS employee at the time awards are formally presented
- Have been employed with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences for a period of at least one year by September 25, 2025, and must have successfully completed their probationary progress period (if applicable)
- Must have been formally nominated by a current CHSS faculty or staff member; self-nominations are acceptable
- Must not have any existing performance-related concerns, be currently be under a performance improvement plan, or be the subject of any disciplinary actions. This information will be verified by the nominee’s supervisor and/or CHSS HR.
- Must be any award-specific criteria as described below
- Previous award recipients are eligible to be nominated in future award cycles
Timeline
- Nomination period opens – September 25, 2025
- Nomination period closes – October 13, 2025
- Selection committee review period – October 14, 2025 – October 24, 2025
- Final selection decisions due to CHSS HR – October 27, 2025
- Award recipients (and supervisors) notified – week of November 3, 2025
- Awards ceremony – December 3, 2025
