Alaa served as president on the Arabic Calligraphy Club and organized several Arabic Calligraphy workshops while pursuing a double major.

BFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in poetry, minors in Screen Cultures and Judaic Studies

A 2024 recipient of the Sharon Draznin Award for Excellence in Judaic Studies, Darbyshire participated in several student organizations, including serving as the president of the Ahavah, the LGBTQ+ Jewish RSO.

BA, Human Development and Family Science, minor in Nonprofit Studies

Kendall co-created a mental health workshop for at-risk youth through an internship with Northern Virginia Family Services.

BA in Integrative Studies with concentration in Social Justice and Human Rights

A former U.S. Air Force Senior Master Seargeant, Shemika completed research focusing on Black history, identity, and resistance as she continues on a bachelor’s to accelerated master’s degree (BAM) tract at George Mason.

BA in Criminology, Law and Society, BA in Psychology

While pursuing a double major, Lauren also worked as an assistant in the Judaic Studies program and in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society department in addition to completing several internships, including with the U.S. Marshals Service.

BA in Sociology, minor in Immigration Studies

Ashley was an active member of the Social Science Research Lab and served as a student fellow in Immigration Policy for the Alliance for Citizen Engagement.

BA in English with a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric

Matthew will attend law school next fall.

Trinity pursued an honors thesis exploring the economic implications of policies affecting healthcare while also serving as treasurer of the university’s Formula Watch (Formula One Racing) club.

Leah participated in a language-intensive study abroad program in Taiwan and in the college’s Language Documentation Lab.

A veteran of the military, Dylan plans to pursue a career in wealth management.

Jessica served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for communication associate professor Meg Tucker.

While pursuing a double major, Fenia was very involved on and off campus, serving as president of the French Club while also completing internships with the House of Representatives and with a lobbying firm. She also went on three study abroad trips to the University of Oxford in England.

BS in Economics, minor in Mathematics

Max served as the vice president of the George Mason Economics Society, worked as a learning assistant for calculus courses, played viola in the university’s concert orchestra and studied abroad at the University of Oxford.

BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies with a concentration in Climate Change and Society, minor in Global Affairs

Kira studied abroad in Costa Rica and Austria, including completing an internship with the U.S. Embassy in Vienna. She also volunteered for several organizations, including with Feed Fairfax.

While pursuing her major and double minor, Mikayla served as a learning assistant for an upper-level forensic science class.

Joseph finished with the highest GPA of all graduating students in his program and studied abroad in Athens and Rome.

Jordan competed on the women’s club volleyball team, served as a teacher’s assistant for two classes and served as the project manager for augmented reality campus tour research project in the Higher Education program.

Vivianna was involved in a variety of organizations, including serving as the Editor in Chief for the Fourth Estate, along with working on the Mason Cable Network, the debate team and participating on the Mason Spirit squad.

BA in History with a concentration in Public History, double minor is Spanish and Ancient History and Mediterranean Archeology

A first-generation college student who will stay at George Mason to complete his master’s degree in history, Andrew studied abroad to France, Spain and Poland.

Anka, who is pursuing a bachelor’s to accelerated master’s (BAM) degree, competed on the women’s swimming and diving team and served as a Global Political Fellow.

A double major, Haley served as an ambassador for Mason Chooses Kindness and studied abroad in the United Kingdom with the programmed focused on Harry Potter and art history.
