Congratulations to Dr. Linda Merola, who was selected by the Students as Scholars QEP Leadership Council to receive the 2016 OSCAR Mentoring Award of Excellence. This award recognizes and rewards outstanding Mason community members who mentor undergraduate students on their research and creative activities, and who foster a culture of student scholarship in support of Mason's Students as Scholars initiative. Dr. Merola was commended for excelling at both, and recognized for the positive impact she has had on Mason undergraduate students.
She received her award at the 5th Annual Celebration of Student Scholarship held on May 4, 2016 at Mason's Center for the Arts. Congratulations once again to Dr. Merola!
