The CHSS winter break proposal submission deadlines are as follows:
PRA forms for any proposal due between December 16, 2026 through January 8, 2027 are due to the CHSS Pre-Award Team by November 23, 2026. Any PRA forms received after this date will be subject to review on a case-by-case basis by the Associate Dean for Research to determine if the submission can move forward.
Proposals due to the sponsor December 16, 2026 through January 5, 2027 are due to CHSS by December 8, 2026. OSP will submit these proposals with due dates December 18 – January 1, no later than Thursday, December 17, 2026. OSP will attempt to submit proposals due January 4–5 by December 18, 2026, but some may be submitted on their January due date.
- Proposals due to the sponsor January 6 – 8 are due to CHSS by December 17, 2026. Any narrative documents are allowed to be in draft format, but the budget, personnel docs, or any administrative documents must be complete before the holiday break.
- Normal internal deadlines resume for proposals due January 11, 2027 and thereafter.
These adjustments are made because the University will be closed for winter break, which runs December 19, 2026 through January 5, 2027.
