Fall for the Book, Northern Virginia’s largest literary festival, returned for the 28th year with bestselling authors Celeste Ng and Stephen Graham Jones as headliners.

Ng discussed her bestselling novels, Little Fires Everywhere and Everything I Never Told You, along with her recent New York Times bestseller, Our Missing Hearts. She spoke in front of nearly 400 people at the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center in Fairfax during a conversation with moderator and George Mason alum Priyanka Champaneri (BA '05, MFA '10).

The night before on October 8, Graham Jones, New York Times bestselling author of The Buffalo Hunter Hunter, spoke at the Harris Theatre on George Mason's Fairfax campus.

All festival events were free and open to the public thanks to the generous support of sponsors like the City of Fairfax, the George Mason Friends, ArtsFairfax, and Virginia Commission for the Arts. Based at George Mason, Fall for the Book is an independent nonprofit literary arts organization that promotes reading by sponsoring a variety of year-round events and activities.
