Rachel Lindsey honored as 2025 CHSS distinguished staff alumni

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is proud to honor Rachel Lindsey, MA English ’05, MEd Counseling and Development ’14, with the 2025 Distinguished Staff Alumni Award.

Lindsey is a champion for student success at George Mason University. As assistant director of career education, she manages career preparation courses that reach more than 500 students annually. Her leadership in transitioning career curriculum online has expanded access and flexibility for students across disciplines.

Lindsey also partners with faculty to embed career development into academic programs and helps humanities and social sciences students connect their studies to meaningful career paths. She supports students through the NoVa Summer Network Program and serves on the George Mason Hillel Community Board, helping students build confidence and community as they navigate their academic and career journeys.  the assistant director of career education, where she manages career preparation courses that reach more than 500 students annually.
