Call for participation: Survey on humanities-STEM collaborations addressing ecological challenges

The National Humanities Alliance, in collaboration with the American Council of Learned Societies, and with funding from the National Science Foundation, is conducting a landscape survey of Humanities-STEM research collaborations that address ecological challenges. This initiative will culminate in a convening of selected researchers and funders in Washington, D.C., on January 23, 2026. Eight partner teams will be invited to participate in the January meeting, offering a unique opportunity to share insights, network, and highlight the power of combining sciences and humanities methodologies to tackle ecological challenges.

CHSS faculty are encouraged to take a moment to complete this survey, which is estimated to take about 15-20 minutes to complete.  Your participation will contribute to a broader understanding of the field and help amplify the impact of Humanities-STEM collaborations. This survey will also be used to select participants for the January event.
