The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is proud to honor David Huchler, BS Law Enforcement '91, CERG Administration of Justice '04, with the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award in criminology, law and society.
Huchler leads police operations for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, overseeing police operations at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport, and along the Dulles Toll Road.
A 26-year veteran of the Alexandria Police Department, Huchler has championed strategic reorganization, advanced technologies, and evidence-based policies to enhance public safety and service.
He continues to give back to George Mason as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society.
