The National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) provides support to early-career faculty -- at the assistant professor or equivalent rank -- who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization. The NSF Proposal submission deadline is July 23, 2025. However, as Mason submits a large volume of CAREER proposals, please note the following deadlines:
- PRA Forms should be submitted no later than Friday, June 20th if you are planning to submit a proposal. Proposals submitted after this date will require ADR approval.
- All NSF CAREER proposals are due in final format to CHSS by Wednesday, July 9th, and to OSP by Friday, July 11th, seven days before the sponsor deadline.
