Qualtrics is an online survey tool that is popular with researchers because of the combination of power and ease to use. It has many tools for branching and randomization and can output data as a fully labeled SPSS file (in addition to standard Excel and CSV).
George Mason University has a university subscription to Qualtrics, and in CHSS each department has its own “departmental administrator” who works with researchers to create logins, and follow departmental preferences on surveys, etc. A list of departmental administrators can be found on the CHSS Qualtrics page.
Mason Libraries provides some useful resources for Qualtrics on their Survey Software webpage. Additionally, Qualtrics provides Virtual Live Training onboarding office hours that are designed for new Qualtrics users in which experts will introduce users to Qualtrics’ best practices and resources. The 45-minute free onboarding session is designed for new Qualtrics users and will have a live Q&A session. Space is limited for this event and registration is required.
