The National Endowment for the Humanities has published a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for their 2025 Fellowships. The deadline to apply is April 9, 2025. The NEH fellowships are competitive awards granted to individual scholars pursuing projects that embody exceptional research, rigorous analysis, and clear writing. The fellowships provide recipients with time to conduct research or to produce books, monographs, peer-reviewed articles, e-books, born-digital materials, translations with annotations or a critical apparatus, or critical editions resulting from previous research. The fellowship will provide up to $60,000 ($5000 per month) for a period of six to twelve months during the period of January 2026-September 2027.
