Faculty Research and Development Awards (FRDA), funded by CHSS, are short-term awards that are designed to help CHSS tenured and tenure-track faculty initiate new programs of research and scholarship or enhance existing ones. FRDA Seed Funding Leading to External Funding provides funding ($10,000 - $15,000) for projects that position faculty to be more competitive when applying for external grant or fellowship funding. The project period is May 1, 2025-August 31, 2026.
