The National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) funding opportunity has announced a proposal submission deadline of July 24, 2024. NSF encourages submission of CAREER proposals from early-career faculty and especially encourages women, members of underrepresented minority groups, and persons with disabilities to apply.
In previous years, George Mason University has had as many as 30 proposals submitted to this opportunity. Any faculty interested in submitting an NSF CAREER’s proposal will need to submit a CHSS Pre-Award Request for Assistance Form by noon on Friday, June 21st so that the proposal can be entered into RAMP prior to OSP’s internal deadline of June 24, 2024. Any proposal for NSF CAREERs created in RAMP after June 24th will require ADR approval. Proposals are due to CHSS Pre-Award Research Team by July 10th.
All proposals must be submitted in accordance with the requirements specified in this funding opportunity and in the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) NSF 24-1 .
If you have questions or if you are interested in applying for this funding opportunity, please contact Rashmi Pershad, Associate Director of Pre-Award Administration.
