A letter from Dean Jack Censer:

As the holiday season draws near I wanted to take a moment and let you know what we in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences are thankful for:

"I am forever thankful for my family and the blessing of being a mom. I also consider it a privilege to be in the company of many good friends and colleagues."

Tennille Smith Parker, President-Elect, George Mason University Alumni Board

"I'm thankful to have a job with an amazing boss who encouraged me to follow my dreams and bike across the country, all while he fought to keep my job for me until I returned. It's not every day that you have a work environment with such flexibility or great bosses. Had it not been for him, I know I wouldn't have left my job to do my adventure across country, and I would have still been sitting at my desk all summer."

Kiki Holl, Web Designer, College of Humanities and Social Sciences

"As I reflect upon the blessings of this year, I am so grateful for my friends and family who support me tremendously with their love and guidance. I am especially thankful for every opportunity I receive to learn and grow, and appreciate every success and lesson that results. Above all else, I am eternally thankful to my Creator for bestowing these endless blessings upon me.”

Lubna Ghazi, Senior, Integrative Studies with Concentration in Organizational Administration

“I'm thankful to work at Mason, an institution that has given me so many  opportunities to contribute to and to benefit from the community at large.”
