Each summer, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences welcomes in about 650 new freshmen and 600 new transfer students into our majors. These students, along with their parents, attend one of 16 different orientation sessions throughout the summer and an aspect of each of their orientation is a College 101 talk given by Evan Baum, Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Programs.
