Did you know that Mason has a license to SPIN, a web-based information resource and searchable database for federal and non-federal funding opportunities? It includes the InfoEd Commerce Business Daily and a SPIN keyword thesaurus. It also provides listings of upcoming deadlines and allows you to customize your own e-mail notifications of funding information using SMARTS/GENIUS. There are two ways that you can access this resource:
- Access SPIN on-campus or through off-campus VPN to perform basic searches (see Engaging with SPIN Anonymously training video for functionality details), or;
- Sign up for a personal account to create funding alters and save custom funding opportunity searches.
