NEH announces new initiative addressing social challenges

The American Tapestry: Weaving Together Past, Present, and Future includes several newly launched NEH grant programs designed to draw upon the humanities to:

    • Strengthen our democracy
    • Advance equity for all, and
    • Address our changing climate

Funding programs include:  Dangers & Opportunities of Technology: Perspectives from the Humanities (Deadline February 2, 2023); Spotlight on Humanities in Higher Education (next anticipated deadline October 18, 2023);  Cultural and Community Resilience Program (deadline January 12, 2023); Climate Smart Humanities Organizations (January 17, 2023, with 1:1 match required); and Public Impact Projects at Smaller Organizations, launching in 2023.
