Dean Ann Ardis re-appointed to five-year term

Thanking her for her "many important and consequential contributions to the college and our university," George Mason University Provost Mark Ginsberg has announced that Ann Ardis has been re-appointed to her second five-year term as dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

In his announcement, Ginsberg praised Ardis's leadership in CHSS and her work as "an influential university leader supporting the growth and development of Mason."

Dean Ardis, who joined the college in the summer of 2018, is pleased to continue in its leadership. “It has been an honor to serve as dean of this college," she said, "and I welcome the opportunity to sustain the stewardship of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni in a second term, as Mason and CHSS begin our ‘next chapter’ as an access-oriented R1.”
