The 50th Anniversary planning team is seeking submissions of materials to be added to a time capsule marking important moments in Mason's history.
What item best captures your #MasonNation experience? Submissions are open for Mason’s 50th Anniversary time capsule – please submit an idea for consideration. The team hopes to include a wide variety of items, with representation across all schools/colleges and units, throughout the Mason community (alumni, students, current and former staff and faculty).
The committee will choose the items to include during fall 2022. Selected items will be collected and sent to the University Libraries Special Collections Research Center, and photos of the items selected will be featured in a 50th Anniversary Gallery Wall Exhibit in the lower level of the Johnson Center.
This submission form is open until August 30, 2022. The committee will choose the items to include during fall 2022.
CHSS-wide submission: we need your help!
The committee has also asked Mason's academic units to submit items for the time capsule that represent the college or school as a whole. Can you think of an item, historical or contemporary, that captures the College of Humanities and Social Sciences? Please send your ideas to Anne Reynolds at areyno12@gmu.edu.
