Mason students can now create and join Microsoft Teams, which means that faculty can use Teams for class. Those wishing to use Teams to supplement their courses can do so with the following caveats:
- It is not a replacement for the Blackboard
- No grade or information that could be considered FERPA-protected is to be stored there
- Membership has to be managed manually
ITS is in the process of pulling together a more robust support plan to assist those who wish to leverage this tool.
