The CHSS Staff Professional Development Working Group is pleased to present a new webpage as a home for staff professional development opportunities and resources. Please be sure to check the webpage for college, university, and outside of Mason opportunities! If you have recommendations for additional resources, please email them to our team.
We would also like to take this opportunity to notify you about a special session to be held on Tuesday, April 27 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. Members of the working group will provide an overview of the results of the professional development survey that was conducted last fall and then provide an opportunity for open dialogue. We hope to glean more information from college staff regarding current and future needs for professional development as well as further our understanding about potential barriers in pursuing such opportunities.
More information regarding the session -- as well as the Zoom link -- will be sent to classified and non-student wage staff as well as administrative faculty in the coming weeks. We hope you will join us for this important session – your feedback will assist our group in making recommendations to the college’s senior leadership!
